About Us

Winners Alliance is a global, athlete-centric commercial solution dedicated to creating novel group licensing, sponsorship, partnership, content, investment and event opportunities for world-class athletes collectively. Launched in August 2022, Winners Alliance serves as the for-profit affiliate of the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA), World Cricketers’ Association (WCA), EuroLeague Players Association (ELPA), and Grand Slam Track, representing the group commercial rights of hundreds of athletes worldwide. Among its pioneering initiatives, Winners Alliance aims to establish a sustainable group licensing program encompassing video games, trading cards, collectibles, and related opportunities.

The Role Reporting to the VP, Games, the Sr. Director, Games Business Development will focus on developing and executing partnerships with game publishers and developers across the globe to grow the games business at Winners Alliance.

Responsibilities• Analyze the games industry to identify trends and opportunities for partnership. • Source best in class partners from around the world across all platforms (mobile, PC, Console, XR, web3, etc.) who are passionate about building high-quality games with the world’s best athletes. • Collaborate with internal teams and player representatives / league partners to drive consensus toward establishing new games partnerships. • Structure and negotiate games licensing agreements from term sheet through to signature. • Support licensees throughout their product lifecycle during development, launch and post-launch / live ops.

Requirements• 8+ years in gaming with a focus on business development, licensing, partnerships or publishing. • An established global network in the games industry with publishers, developers and other market participants. • Ability to initiate, structure, negotiate, operate and maintain high impact strategic gaming partnerships. • Ability to think creatively in order to formulate novel partnership opportunities and innovative game concepts. • Openness to working across timezones with publishers and developers in regions most passionate about the rights represented by Winners Alliance. • A positive and optimistic demeanor along with a can-do attitude viewing no task as too big or too small. • A long-time gamer who also enjoys sports.
