Job Summary

As a People Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the growth and culture of our globally distributed Web3 team. You will be responsible for aligning talent strategy with business goals, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the team remains engaged, motivated, and equipped to thrive in a rapidly evolving blockchain landscape.

This is a strategic position that blends organizational leadership, talent development, and culture-building-crucial to scaling a Web3-native organization operating at the cutting edge of blockchain innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent & Workforce Strategy

-Develop and implement workforce planning strategies tailored to a remote-first, Web3-native team -Analyze employee engagement data to refine hiring, retention, and development strategies -Partner with leadership to create an environment where autonomy, ownership, and decentralized decision-making thrive

  • Performance Management & Growth

-Design and oversee performance frameworks that align with open-source collaboration and Web3 innovation -Provide structured feedback loops and growth pathways for engineers, researchers, and product teams -Facilitate mentorship and skill development programs focused on blockchain infrastructure, cryptography, and protocol engineering

  • Culture & Employee Engagement

-Foster a Web3-native culture that prioritizes transparency, decentralization, and mission-driven collaboration -Champion initiatives to enhance remote work dynamics, asynchronous collaboration, and distributed team engagement -Mediate and resolve conflicts while ensuring a positive, inclusive, and diverse workplace

  • Compliance & Organizational Development

-Ensure alignment with global employment regulations while maintaining the flexibility required in a decentralized work environment -Maintain and update HR policies that reflect the unique needs of a blockchain-focused company -Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on organizational structure, talent retention, and succession planning

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in HR leadership, people management, or organizational development within a tech or startup environment
  • Proven ability to scale distributed teams in fast-paced, high-growth settings
  • Strong understanding of remote-first team dynamics, decentralized organizations (DAOs), and Web3 culture
  • Expertise in performance management, talent strategy, and workforce planning for blockchain or tech teams
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align engineering, product, and business teams

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with DAOs,token-based incentives, and decentralized governance structures.
  • Experience working in crypto, blockchain infrastructure, or Web3-native organizations.
  • Knowledge of employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions (given the nature of a globally distributed team).
  • Proficiency in HR software, HRIS systems, and data analytics tools to inform decision-making.
