About the team + role Our International Crypto Expansion team is responsible for bringing Robinhood’s crypto products to a global audience-starting with Europe, now live in over 30 countries-and unlocking the next wave of growth through strategic expansion, localized innovation, and a relentless focus on user experience.
As Engineering Manager, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution for international crypto expansion-crafting the team’s roadmap, prioritizing high-impact initiatives, and delivering delightful, localized experiences to global users. You’ll own day-to-day operations, support the growth and development of your engineers, and set the multidisciplinary direction of backend engineering for the team. Your leadership will be key in building and empowering a high-performing team, driving technical excellence, and fostering product innovation across markets.

What you'll do
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including project prioritization, sprint planning, and on-call retrospectives, to ensure smooth and efficient team execution.
- Drive product excellence: Work closely with product managers, designers, data scientists and other teams to define and implement a roadmap for seamless payment experiences.
- Support engineers in their professional growth with clear feedback and grow technical leaders.
- Ensure high technical standards by instituting processes (design reviews, testing) and culture (engineering excellence).
